Custom framing, glass cutting, mat cutting, and frame repairs

We offer custom framing with hundreds of frame options from Larsen-Juhl, Roma Moulding, and more. From basic metal frames for a tight budget to beautiful hard wood and leather show pieces. Prices for custom frames start at $50, and re-purposed frames are often available for those on a tight budget or strict deadline. Please expect up to 2 weeks for a custom frame from the order date.

Mats are cut on site using a specialized CNC machine. Many colors in stock and thousands more can be ordered for whatever shows your art at it’s best. Replacing an old mat can breath new life into a classic frame. All mats we carry are acid free and 100% Cotton based mats are available to ensure no damage to priceless art over time.

We have several options for glass, most in stock and cut on site. From basic budget options, to virtually invisible plexiglass. Some of our most popular include UltraVue and AR70 glass, both provide 75% UV light absorption to prevent fading and are virtually invisible. Museum grade plexiglass is available as a special order for the most valuable of pieces. For more information on our glass options please visit Tru-Vue and GroGlass websites.

Our wide format printer uses 12 different inks for amazing color reproduction. We can print to any size or shape, and have several different finishing options. We can use your own photos, digital or printed, or we can use photos from the many local photographers we work with.

We can also print on high quality photo paper, and heavyweight fine art paper.

All the work is done in our shop, right in Parksville BC, our canvas prints are laminated by hand.

Pricing

We can print canvas to any size, these examples will give you an estimate of pricing for your project. Canvas can be stretched onto 3/4 inch, 1 1/2″, or 2″ stretcher bars. Prices do not include tax.

Wide format printing with a high quality printer is available on several different photo and fine art papers. Examples on each paper can be seen in store. Inks are archival quality and are resistant to fading over time.
